The work Sunset On Trầm Mountain (Sài Sơn) by Nguyen Nam Son was worth HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,068.83) to a buyer in April 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Nam Son - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nude, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,649.74).

Die Arbeit Sunset On Trầm Mountain (Sài Sơn) von Nguyen Nam Son war einem Käufer im April 2019 HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.068,83) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Nam Son mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nude beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.649,74) versteigert wurde.
