Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Pecheurs Au Clair De Lune (Fishing Under The Moonlight) by Nguyen Khang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 46,282.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Khang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nguyen Khang | Fish, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 1,260,000.00 (€ 157,222.11).

Die Arbeit Les Pecheurs Au Clair De Lune (Fishing Under The Moonlight) von Nguyen Khang kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 46.282,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Khang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nguyen Khang | Fish beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 1.260.000,00 (€ 157.222,11) versteigert wurde.
