Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Washing Clothes by Ng Po Wan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 240,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 264,000.00 (€ 25,601.69). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ng Po Wan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atlantic Coast, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Washing Clothes von Ng Po Wan kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 240.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 264.000,00 (€ 25.601,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Atlantic Coast beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13) versteigert wurde.
