Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of Shatin by Ng Po Wan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 14,536.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 130,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ng Po Wan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atlantic Coast in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View of Shatin von Ng Po Wan kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 14.536,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 130.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atlantic Coast im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
