The work A Fishing Village by Ng Po Wan was sold in the Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 28,569.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ng Po Wan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atlantic Coast, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).

Die Arbeit A Fishing Village von Ng Po Wan wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 28.569,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Atlantic Coast beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13) versteigert wurde.
