In the American Art auction, the work "There Fell A Long Silence Through Which O'Hara Read And Kenyon Kept Watch At The Window" sold for USD 543,000.00 (€ 487,039.20) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Newell Convers Wyeth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Hands Up!" in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 4,951,500.00 (€ 4,680,941.58).
