Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work "Come, Live with Us, for I Think Thou Art Chosen" by Newell Convers Wyeth for USD 50,400.00 (€ 46,966.73). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Newell Convers Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Hands Up!" in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 4,951,500.00 (€ 4,680,941.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Come, Live with Us, for I Think Thou Art Chosen" von Newell Convers Wyeth für USD 50.400,00 (€ 46.966,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Newell Convers Wyeth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Hands Up!" im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.951.500,00 (€ 4.680.941,58).
