Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Elli Seraidari could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the PHOTOGRAPHS auction, the work Athènes - Nicolsca dansant dans le Parthénon, 1929 changed hands for GBP 5,975.00 (€ 8,964.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Elli Seraidari have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2019 by the work Athènes - "Nicolsca" Dansant Dans Le Parthenon, 1929 at EUR 11,875.00.
