Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Last run of the day by Neil Cawthorne. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,099.22). Admittedly, works by Neil Cawthorne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Full Cry in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,297.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Last run of the day von Neil Cawthorne zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.099,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Neil Cawthorne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Full Cry im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.465,00 (€ 7.297,87).
