It achieved a price of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,249.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Neil Cawthorne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Full Cry in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,297.87).
