Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Across the Road, Quorn by Neil Cawthorne was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in December 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,047.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Neil Cawthorne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Full Cry in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,297.87).

Die Arbeit Across the Road, Quorn von Neil Cawthorne wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert.
