This artwork by Neil Beloufa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2017. In the New Now auction, the work Show off sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,100.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Neil Beloufa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vintage Series: Lighters sold at auction in June 2017 with the realized price of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,046.82).
