In December last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Vintage Series: syringe by Neil Beloufa. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,820.00 (€ 9,956.92), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Beloufa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vintage Series: Lighters, which sold at auction in June 2017 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,046.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vintage Series: syringe von Neil Beloufa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 9.956,92) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Neil Beloufa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vintage Series: Lighters beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.046,82) versteigert wurde.
