Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2024 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Angel Rocker by Nathan Oliveira. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,040.00 (€ 6,152.77). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nathan Oliveira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Woman With Long Hair, 1959 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 144,062.50 (€ 124,438.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Angel Rocker von Nathan Oliveira zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.040,00 (€ 6.152,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nathan Oliveira erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Woman With Long Hair, 1959 im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.062,50 (€ 124.438,54).
