Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern Art | New York, which included the work Passage à Chatou-Bailly by Nathan Grunsweigh. The price achieved of USD 4,410.00 (€ 3,896.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nathan Grunsweigh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Hôtel Sans-Souci, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,977.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Passage à Chatou-Bailly von Nathan Grunsweigh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.410,00 (€ 3.896,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nathan Grunsweigh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Hôtel Sans-Souci beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.977,97) versteigert wurde.
