Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Ecole de Paris, which included the work Nature Morte Au Moulin A Cafe, 1923 by Nathan Grunsweigh. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,931.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nathan Grunsweigh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Hôtel Sans-Souci in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,977.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Ecole de Paris durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Moulin A Cafe, 1923 von Nathan Grunsweigh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.931,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nathan Grunsweigh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Hôtel Sans-Souci im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.977,97).
