This price was achieved in the auction Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nathan Grunsweigh; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot L'Hôtel Sans-Souci sold at auction in March 2021 with the realized price of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,977.97).
