In February 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples, which included the work SS 14-78 by Nassos Daphnis. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,147.50 (€ 948.90), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nassos Daphnis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 20-60 in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 48,750.00 (€ 57,130.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit SS 14-78 von Nassos Daphnis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.147,50 (€ 948,90) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nassos Daphnis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 20-60 im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.750,00 (€ 57.130,19).
