A top price for Nasser Assar - as previously expected
In March 2016 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Nasser Assar. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,898.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Nasser Assar that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2016 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasser Assar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.898,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nasser Assar, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
