Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Iranian untitled by Nasser Assar. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,102.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasser Assar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2016 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,898.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranian untitled von Nasser Assar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.102,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasser Assar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2016 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.898,16) versteigert wurde.
