Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art II, which included the work Sans Titre - 1961 by Nasser Assar. The price achieved of EUR 4,940.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nasser Assar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,898.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1961 von Nasser Assar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.940,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasser Assar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.898,16).
