The work Composition - 1961 by Nasser Assar was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in June 2014. It achieved a price of EUR 8,444.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41 %. Admittedly, works by Nasser Assar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,898.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition - 1961 von Nasser Assar wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.444,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasser Assar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.898,16).
