Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nasrollah Afjehei was sold in the Hurouf: The Art of The Word auction at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,261.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nasrollah Afjehei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wave in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasrollah Afjehei wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Hurouf: The Art of The Word bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.261,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wave im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95).
