In the The Art of Nandalal Bose, Abanindranath Tagore and Rabindranath Tagore: The Supratik Bose Collection auction, the work Untitled (Preparatory Drawing For Bapuji) sold for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,079.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nandalal Bose achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bull Fighter in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 147,750.00 (€ 109,161.43).
