The auction ended at the price of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,375.52), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nandalal Bose achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bull Fighter in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 147,750.00 (€ 109,161.43).

Die Arbeit Jagai-Madhai von Nandalal Bose kam im September 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.375,52) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nandalal Bose erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bull Fighter im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 147.750,00 (€ 109.161,43).
