In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Nulia Tribeswoman Seated Outside A Forest Hut sold for USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,338.89) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nandalal Bose have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bull Fighter in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 147,750.00 (€ 109,161.43).
