Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nam Kwan was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2000. The price achieved of USD 4,700.00 (€ 5,318.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nam Kwan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 129,472.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nam Kwan kam im September 2000 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.700,00 (€ 5.318,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nam Kwan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 129.472,73).
