Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Old Form by Nam Kwan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,485.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nam Kwan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 129,472.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Old Form von Nam Kwan kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.485,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nam Kwan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 129.472,73).
