Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Three Angels by Nahum Gutman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,644.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nahum Gutman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tiberias Landscape in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 218,226.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Three Angels von Nahum Gutman kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.644,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nahum Gutman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tiberias Landscape im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 218.226,26).
