A top price for Nahum Gutman - as previously expected
The work Tiberias Landscape by Nahum Gutman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 250,000.00 (€ 218,226.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tiberias Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Nahum Gutman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Tiberias Landscape von Nahum Gutman kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 218.226,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Tiberias Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nahum Gutman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
