In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Yachts at Bosham, Sussex by Nadia Benois. The result of GBP 400.00 (€ 450.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Nadia Benois have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dieppe in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,383.81).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yachts at Bosham, Sussex von Nadia Benois zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 400,00 (€ 450,27) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nadia Benois auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dieppe im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.383,81).
