Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,203.57). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nadia Benois - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dieppe, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,383.81).

Die Arbeit Still Life With Chrysanthemums von Nadia Benois wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.203,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nadia Benois mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dieppe beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.383,81) versteigert wurde.
