Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,202.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nadezhda Stupina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Irises and sunflowers in a yellow jug, on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77).
