Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lily pond by Nadezhda Stupina was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,401.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nadezhda Stupina have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Irises and sunflowers in a yellow jug, on a table was auctioned for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77).
