Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pink lilies by Nadezhda Stupina was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in August 2007. The price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,064.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nadezhda Stupina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Irises and sunflowers in a yellow jug, on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.064,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nadezhda Stupina mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Irises and sunflowers in a yellow jug, on a table beobachtet, die im März 2007 für GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.472,77) versteigert wurde.
