In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work Assorted irises in a vase, on a table by Nadezhda Stupina. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,589.29), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Nadezhda Stupina have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77) in March 2007 for the work Irises and sunflowers in a yellow jug, on a table.
