This artwork by Murat Pulat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in April 2013. In the Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part I auction, the work Shame sold for USD 52,500.00 (€ 39,869.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Murat Pulat; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Marilyn Monroe (from the Interface series) sold at auction in April 2012 with the realized price of USD 56,250.00 (€ 42,520.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Murat Pulat erzielte im April 2013 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part I wurde die Arbeit Shame für USD 52.500,00 (€ 39.869,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Murat Pulat; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Marilyn Monroe (from the Interface series) im April 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 42.520,22).
