This artwork by Murat Pulat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2010. In the Contemporary Art/Turkish auction, the work Arayuz (Interface) sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,946.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Murat Pulat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marilyn Monroe (from the Interface series), which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 42,520.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Murat Pulat erzielte im April 2010 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art/Turkish wurde die Arbeit Arayuz (Interface) für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.946,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Murat Pulat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marilyn Monroe (from the Interface series) beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 42.520,22) versteigert wurde.
