Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish, which included the work Lokal (Local) by Murat Pulat. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,731.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Murat Pulat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marilyn Monroe (from the Interface series), which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 42,520.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lokal (Local) von Murat Pulat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.731,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Murat Pulat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marilyn Monroe (from the Interface series) beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 42.520,22) versteigert wurde.
