Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman under the pink tree by Moungthai Busamaro was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It changed hands for a price of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 1,947.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moungthai Busamaro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Book, which sold at auction in November 2006 for HKD 48,000.00 (€ 4,654.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman under the pink tree von Moungthai Busamaro kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 18.750,00 (€ 1.947,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Moungthai Busamaro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Book beobachtet, die im November 2006 für HKD 48.000,00 (€ 4.654,85) versteigert wurde.
