Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Seated Figure by Moungthai Busamaro. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 42,000.00 (€ 4,218.66), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Moungthai Busamaro have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 4,654.85) in November 2006 for the work Red Book.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seated Figure von Moungthai Busamaro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 4.218,66) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Moungthai Busamaro haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 4.654,85) im November 2006 für die Arbeit Red Book beobachtet.
