Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Moshekwa Langa for EUR 625.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshekwa Langa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape I in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,932.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshekwa Langa für EUR 625,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshekwa Langa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape I im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.932,55).
