This artwork by Moses Levy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October last year. In the Art & Design : un certain regard sur le XXè siècle auction, the work Baigneuse au repos sold for EUR 8,190.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moses Levy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Pineta - 1919, which sold at auction in December last year for EUR 26,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moses Levy erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art & Design : un certain regard sur le XXè siècle wurde die Arbeit Baigneuse au repos für EUR 8.190,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Moses Levy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Pineta - 1919 beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für EUR 26.240,00 versteigert wurde.
