In June 2013 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Portrait De Femme by Moses Levy. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,846.00 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Moses Levy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Pineta - 1919 in December last year with an auction result of EUR 26,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait De Femme von Moses Levy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.846,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moses Levy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Pineta - 1919 im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.240,00.
