Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Bagnanti e barche a vela by Moses Levy for EUR 800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moses Levy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Pineta - 1919 in December last year with an auction result of EUR 26,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bagnanti e barche a vela von Moses Levy für EUR 800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moses Levy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Pineta - 1919 im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.240,00.
