Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ten - Movement by Morita Shiryū was sold in the Morita Shiryu: Bokujin auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 27,515.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Morita Shiryū achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work So - Wilderness in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,740,000.00 (€ 301,569.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ten - Movement von Morita Shiryū wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Morita Shiryu: Bokujin bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 27.515,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Morita Shiryū erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit So - Wilderness im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.740.000,00 (€ 301.569,37).
