In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Morita Shiryu: Bokujin, which included the work Ki - Return by Morita Shiryū. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,630.41), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Morita Shiryū achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work So - Wilderness in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,740,000.00 (€ 301,569.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Morita Shiryu: Bokujin durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ki - Return von Morita Shiryū zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.630,41) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Morita Shiryū erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit So - Wilderness im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.740.000,00 (€ 301.569,37).
