Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kai - Yearning by Morita Shiryū was sold in the Morita Shiryu: Bokujin auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,630.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Morita Shiryū achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work So - Wilderness in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,740,000.00 (€ 301,569.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kai - Yearning von Morita Shiryū wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Morita Shiryu: Bokujin bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.630,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Morita Shiryū erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit So - Wilderness im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.740.000,00 (€ 301.569,37).
