Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Monika Baer was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,934.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Monika Baer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2017 for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Monika Baer kam im März 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.934,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Monika Baer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.058,26) versteigert wurde.
