Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nu allongé by Moïse Kisling was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 73,080.00 (€ 68,593.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Admittedly, works by Moïse Kisling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nu allongé von Moïse Kisling wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 73.080,00 (€ 68.593,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
